Dr. Brent Herrin attended the
University of Georgia from 2001-2005, graduating with a
degree in biology, Summa Cum Laude with Honors. Brent was a
member of Kappa Sigma fraternity at UGA. He then attended
dental school from 2005-2009 in Augusta, Georgia. In 2009,
he graduated from The Medical College of Georgia School of
Dentistry and was selected as a member of the Omicron Kappa
Upsilon dental honor society. From 2009 to 2011, Brent
attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and
received a certificate in pediatric dentistry in June 2011.
At Baylor, Dr. Herrin trained at multiple clinical sites
including Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, Children's Medical
Center, and Baylor School of Dentistry. His professional
affiliations include the
Georgia Dental
Association, the
Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the
American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, the
Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the
American Dental Association,
and Paul P. Taylor Alumni Association. Brent moved to
Savannah in June 2011 to join Dentistry for Children and
Adolescents, P.C. as an associate with Drs. McCaslin,
McCaslin and Colley. He is married to Kristen Herrin, and
they have a seven month old daughter Ella. He is an animal
lover with two dogs and a cat. His hobbies include running,
sports, cheering fro UGA, and spending time with friends and
family. His family is currently seeking a church home in
Savannah.
